Summary: Directs and coordinates all phases of warehouse operations including loading operations and material handling activities (processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment). Prepares schedules for receiving materials to control flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Develops and reviews work schedules and policies/procedures of the warehouse. Checks incoming materials, inspects for obvious damage and guarantees that damaged materials are processed for return and/or credit.

2. Operate department within the approved budget and guidelines.
3. Manage and delegate assignments to optimize labor effectiveness and efficiency.
4. Manage inbound receipts for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
5. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all outbound shipments.
6. Provide coaching training and development needed to keep up with and
exceed organizational goals.
7. Manage adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices from all aspects of the organization.
8. Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
9. Maintain all equipment in good working condition.
10. Develop and maintain good relations with our associates.
11. Weekly Team Meetings.
12. Deliver all reports on time.
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS (licenses, certifications, etc.):
Prefer Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics/Transportation or related field.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must have 3-5 years experience in warehousing, logistics, or operations.
Must have 3 years experience in supervision of at least 50 associates.
Excellent communication skills required at all organizational levels.
Must be able to manage multiple assignments.
Must have a working knowledge of MRP system, and inventory control process and procedures.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven planning and organizing skills,
leadership, teamwork, and influencing or collaboration skills.
Must be proficient with computer systems, personal computers and spreadsheet software and mainframe
system with custom applications.
Must be able to work off shifts and weekends. Requires strong analytical skills.
