Summary:
The Total Industrial Engineer Assistant Manager develops and applies the Toyota Production System and Lean Manufacturing using Kanban and other tools to control the flow of material, information and people throughout the plant.

E Assistant Manager designs and implements various tools to move and store components and finished product.
The TIE Assistant Manager Recommends and implements kaizen improvements to manufacturing processes and methods.
Job Duties:
The TIE Assistant Manager devises and promotes plans for TIE activities.
The TIE Assistant Manager performs essential functions of the Specialist level; develops, promotes and teaches TIE training classes.
The TIE Assistant Manager setups and maintaining through internal Software system that is used for production areas for tracking of productivity.
Evaluates data and recommends plans for improvement.
Improves manufacturing processes, logistical and warehouse processes, methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
Collects time study data and analyzes to improve line balance and manpower efficiency.
Setup and creation of documents for Job balance and work flow.
Follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes Performs kaizen on all processes to reduce wasted motion while maintaining ergonomic conditions.
Finds ways to reduce inventory levels of components, work-in-process and finished product.
The TIE Understands Kanban flow and its effect on the flow of materials.
Builds and installs various racks, indications, visual tools.
Creates accurate design drawings for Kaizen objects.
Setup of process flow with WIP levels for areas and method for delivery for logistics area for sub assemblies.

Job Requirement's:
Knowledge of Total Industrial Engineering policies, procedures and terms.
Lean Manufacturing knowledge Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience, 5 to 10 years' experience (Assistant Manager).
Project management and planning skills CAD (2D) experience for layouts Ability to create basic design drawings Participates in IATF (formerly TS) and ISO14001 activities related to TIE.
